JESSE D. BERGWERFF
Managing Attorney
Every person has a story to tell — stories that will not only engage, inform, surprise, and impact their audience but also create a sense of profound compassion within the listener. If you sum me up in one word, it would be ‘service.’ I help clients find the right answers and the right action that best fits their unique story; then, I produce high-quality results that meet client goals.
I started my professional career as a Military Police Officer with the 716th Military Police Battalion, stationed in Fort Campbell, KY. After completing my tour of duty, I went to Calvin College (later called Calvin University), where I graduated with a B.A. in Science Education. From Calvin, I began my legal career working in Family Law. While working, I started law school graduating Cum Laude from WMU - Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where I earned the Distinguished Student Award, the Law School’s top award, as well as the Top Advocate award for Moot Court. My practice focuses on Probate, Estate Planning, and Family Law.
I am very blessed with a wonderful wife and two children. I also stay active in my church and like to spend my free time with friends and family
